PoH does lots of work with preschools throughout disaster-affected Tohoku communities. The reason is simple; working moms and dads need quality dare care facilities for their children, therefore, building and repairing these facilities is an important part of the rebuilding process. This is the “social fabric” we speak of in the PoH mission statement. What makes Higashi preschool unique is the number of NPOs, sponsors and volunteers that came together to make it possible. PoH was just one of many organizations that helped make this possible. A privilege and an honor to be here!
