As Ishinomaki begins to recover the city finds itself in need of quality daycare facilities for young families. We had worked with the owner of Bluebird previously in Ishinomaki and after a review of their 2012 financial records it was deemed appropriate to provide their newest facility with a Rainbow play set too!
On this installation, the Playground of Hope had its first opportunity incorporate a team building exercise for a corporate sponsor. We had a wonderful time working together with 30 Deutsche Bank employees/volunteers, from their Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indian offices.
The end result was fantastic event day with a big turn out from the local community! The school looks great, kids had a blast playing on the play set, doing arts and crafts, eating hot dogs and hamburgers and enjoying some chocolate fondue!
