As part of Hilton’s annual Global Month of Service (GMS), Playground of Hope is thrilled to work again with Hilton Worldwide and Elliott Management to improve the lives of children in Japan. This year we visited Hikarinoko Gakuen, a lovely children’s home located in Tateyama, Chiba.
Despite the heavy rain the afternoon, over 70 amazing volunteers worked together to put together a large play set, picnic tables, benches and a balance beam.
In the evening, the children at Hikarinoko Gakuen were treated with a delicious dinner of roast beef, pork, warm cream stew, and Hilton’s very own popular chocolate fondue tower. The smiles and laughter of the children were enough to warm everyone’s hearts.
