Preparing Children for Adulthood the PoH Way
BUILDING CONNECTIONS
BUILDING CONNECTIONS
We facilitate building of connections and relationships between children's homes and corporations, as well as between the people involved - the home's staff and children, and corporate volunteers.
DEVELOPING SKILLS

We help youth from children's homes develop their life and professional skills through participation in our projects as well as through workshops and internships at our partner organizations.
PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES
PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES
We help youth from children's homes transition into 'life on their own.' We mainly do so by helping them with securing a job with one of our partner organizations.
How Does the RLLC Work?
DEVELOPING TRUST
THROUGH PLAY
Through play events and revitalization projects, we help build a deep relationship between corporate volunteers and both the children and staff at a children’s home.
LEARNING THROUGH A
REAL LIFE PROJECT
The children form a committee that, under the guidance of volunteers, plans a play event together. While doing so, they learn important skills including budgeting and project management in an engaging, practical, way.
EXPLORING OPPORTUNITIES
Having made friends with the volunteers through repeated play events, the children are more enticed to ask for advice and to explore future career and educational opportunities.
JUMPSTARTING ADULTHOOD
The children enter adulthood with a network of adults and a general idea of what path they want to pursue – both things that children from children’s home unfortunately often lack.
